What this policy is for

This page explains—in everyday language—what kinds of information might be involved when you use Global Payslip Generator, and how we think about it. It is not tailored to one country’s privacy statute; it is meant to be clear and honest wherever you are.

Information you enter

  • Payslip and form data. Anything you type into the generator (employer names, pay amounts, deductions, and so on) is used to show the preview and build your exports. In the usual setup for this site, that processing happens in your browser; we do not run a payroll database that stores your draft payslips on our servers.
  • Logos. If you upload a company logo, it is typically held as a temporary reference in your browser (for example a blob URL) so the preview and PDF capture can show it. By default we do not upload that image file to our servers for storage. If that ever changes, we will update this policy.

Information that may be collected automatically

Depending on how the site is hosted, standard server or analytics tools may create technical records that do not name you personally but describe traffic in general terms—for example:

  • Rough location derived from network data (such as region or country).
  • Browser or device type, operating system, or screen size buckets.
  • Timestamps, pages viewed, or referral links.
  • IP addresses in web logs, often rotated or aggregated by hosting providers.

We describe this in abstract terms because exact tools can change as the site grows. The point is: routine website operations sometimes leave technical footprints, separate from the payslip text you type.

How information is used

  • To load pages, run the payslip generator in your browser, and deliver exports.
  • To fix errors, understand what features people use, and improve clarity over time.
  • To respond if you contact us and to keep minimal records related to that.

Cookies and analytics

Small text files (cookies) or similar technologies may be used so the site remembers preferences or so analytics or advertising partners can measure general traffic. If analytics or ads are enabled, those vendors typically have their own privacy notices. You can usually clear cookies through your browser settings, though some features may work less smoothly afterwards.

Data retention

Messages you send through a contact form, if we store or relay them, may be kept long enough to reply and for ordinary support or record-keeping. Technical logs are often deleted or compressed on a schedule set by the host. We do not promise indefinite retention of any specific category of data here; practices can depend on the services we use.

Your choices

  • You can stop using the site at any time.
  • You can avoid uploading a logo or entering real names while you test the layout.
  • If you have contacted us and want to ask what was stored or to request deletion of a support message, reach out through the same Contact channel and we will respond in a reasonable way.
